We have a bag on the front, "handpicked" page! Wowza. It has been viewed like 675 time at this point. I had no idea, and logged into etsy for something else, and low and behold. Cool.

Oh, and did I mention we got written up in Vogue's Knit.1 magazine? I will take a picture of that for tomorrow. Neato, national press for Persnickity Design.

Ick!

Oh man, James and I are both home sick with something truly gross. The shop is closed, I am sorry if we have missed anyone, but I have been sleeping for the last two days.

Apparently Ikea really did nearly kill us. We went Sunday afternoon to get furniture for our new shop, and came down with whatever this is on Tuesday. I'll write more about our Ikea experience later, since it truly was a, unique, experience.

So, hopefully we'll be back in tomorrow, but we are suppose to be closed for Saturday. At this point, all I want is to get out of our apartment which feels stuffy with cold/flu germs, and is covered in kleenex and alka-seltzer cold and flu packets. Ugh.

Pssssst, I have a Secret!

Guess what......I just signed a lease on our new almost 3,000 square foot location! That's right, we'll have room to grow: we're in about 600 square feet right now. We've been doing negotiations for the last few weeks, and we just got the keys. We'll be in on or before July 1st. It even has about 37 feet of street visible storefront, unlike our current in a building location now.

We're so excited! Now we have to go buy the additional furniture it will take to fill that extra 2400 sf! We're going to do measurements tomorrow, so I'll make sure and snap a few pictures then.

Why is there a dog in the recycle bin?

Well, I am not entirely sure. My friend stopped in this morning, and Abbey went and hopped in with the paper recycle. Who knows, but it was pretty cute.

So, thanks for the support on myspace......I just logged on, and apparently my page has been switched with someone elses. So, that random Malinda on your friend's list- that's me. Right. So, it looks like I live in Sacramento, and have three children. I hope this gets fixed! I am afraid if I send a bulletin (or whatever) to everyone, it will go to all of HER friends, since when I click to view my friends, I get hers. Right.

Maybe this is why I haven't done the whole myspace thing in the first place.
